Join us for an empowered evening of stories and discussion from an amazing panel of people who resisted and persisted. Our incredible guests include teen activist and former Denver School Board candidate Tay Anderson, poet Azure Antoinette, District Eight House Representative, Leslie Herod, paraplegic basketball coach Jess Markt, holocaust survivor Fanny Starr, founder of The Girls Athletic Leadership Schools, Liz Wolfson

Nevertheless, We Persisted is a powerful collection of essays from actors, activists, athletes, politicians, musicians, writers, and teens, each writing about a time in their youth when they were held back because of their race, gender, or sexual identity--but persisted.

Tickets for adults 18 and over are $20 and include a copy of the book. Free tickets for children under 18.
